Sue and Al Daniels are a couple married for 50 years who are lucky to call Sag Harbor home. In 2014 they both retired; Al after 30 years as a building inspector and Sue over 25 years as a preschool teacher. While taking daily walks on local beaches they collected beach glass and shells. Al began creating jewelry out of their finds. Soon this evolved into framed shell and beach glass pictures, with Sue painting the watercolor backgrounds. This was followed by beach glass trees and eventually beach glass windows, and Sag Harbor Seashells was born.
