Heidi Rain

As an artist living in Noyack, I am ever absorbing the beauty of the waters that surround me, the inspiration of the strength and steadfastness of our trees and responding to this inspiration by expressing myself through the media of photography, watercolor and ink, pastel, charcoal, and fabric.

My teachers have included Anne Seelbach (watercolor) at The Art Barge in Amagansett, Dawn Miller (pastel) at The Art Depot in Montauk, Lois Bender (watercolor) at Bridge Gardens, Roisin Bateman (many varieties of art) at John Jermain Library in Sag Harbor, and Beth Nehl (watercolor) at East End Arts in Riverhead.

I have been selected for juried shows at East End Arts (Collage) and The White Room Gallery in Bridgehampton (Flow); shown my work at the Woodbine Gallery in Montauk; and participated in the Guild Hall Members Show in East Hampton, the John Jermain Patrons’ Show in Sag Harbor, the Jewish Center of the Hamptons In East Hampton and Guild Hall Clothesline sales, and the Peconic Land Trust Birdhouse Auction and Lois Bender’s watercolor class, both at Bridge Gardens in Bridgehampton.
