Carol Ientile
East Hampton resident Carol Ientile uses the moniker Cati when signing her multi media art pieces. A writer, poet and painter of energy, her art, both the process and result, is an expression of observation and exploration of subtle energetic fields of Consciousness. Her creative approach includes symbols, color, form, shape, imagery and wild imaginings both of and out of this world. She is an arbiter of spontaneity and the “now”, always expanding and pushing line and form outside traditional boundaries. Using and combining mediums, she achieves a fluidity and depth expanding layers of visual and emotion response through dimensions. With a thirty three year career running a successful Public Relations and Marketing Agency in NYC as a foundation, Carol often uses words, verse and poetry in the creation of her visual art.
“I create in response to the energy fields around me, which shift in response to the evolving world around us all. I create my art forms in the NOW. Sacred Harbor, the sanctuary where I live on the east end of Long Island provides the grounding influence to explore the emotional, physical and spiritual experiences that are the impetus for my visual work. My paintings are a record of the intangible and often invoke in the viewer a visceral response and release of unknown, often hidden, deep feelings and movement. The viewing experience requires processing and often invokes more allowing than understanding for viewers.”
