One of Veronica’s earliest memories is the joy of using color & making things out of paper. As an educator & working artist, she still approaches artwork with that same sense of play & childhood wonder. Although largely self-taught, she has studied at The New School, Cooper Union and The Center for Book Arts. She enjoys exploring different applications of the creative and practical aspects of Mixed Media, Book Arts, Collage, and Assemblage. Veronica has been an Artist/Donor for Habitat for Humanity, the Interfaith Nutrition Network and Big Brothers & Sisters of N.Y. Her work has shown at Gallery Merz, Ashawagh Hall and various public libraries. She has taught at Golden Eagle & Guild Hall (East Hampton); Applied Arts (Amagansett); and the East Hampton and NYC Public Libraries. Veronica is a passionate yogini and her most recent work is a reflection of this. She finds creating exquisitely meditative and finds that her current work presents itself as Meditation Art.
